North Texas State University
vs.
Louisiana State University
Sept. 11, 1999
Before we get to the game day pictures, we have a couple of Bushwood SA&PC matters that must be addressed. First, while the Babe of the Game feature was a huge hit (give all of the credit to Wang (aka Mason Curren) for suggesting it), there was a motion before the Executive Committee to put the Babe of the Game up to a vote. Apparently, some of you do not trust the Webmasters judgment. Upon a vote of the Executive Committee, the resolution was passed, and from here on we will allow all to vote. The logistics have not yet been figured out, but we will find some way to allow all who wish to, to register their opinion. HOWEVER, the Webmaster retains COMPLETE jurisdiction to determine the slate of candidates == "It's good to be da King."
Second, Dr. Beeper (aka Craig Demarest) asked that we limit the Babe of the Week candidates to those inside of the stadium. The Executive Committee (Dr. Beeper abstaining) summarily rejected this motion.
Finally, despite protest from some, the Executive Committee agreed to disallow all wives, friends and acquaintances of Bushwood Members (including Bushwood members themselves) from being considered for Babe of the Game honors.
Respectfully Submitted,
Al Czervik (Buddy the Webmaster)

Tailgating Pictures
Are there two cuter twins in America??? For this weeks version of "Hey Fight'in Tigers," click HERE.
A view of the Bell Tower (or whatever the hell Lloyd refers to it as) from our tailgating spot.
Another view of the Tower.
Craig, aka Dr. Beeper, looks on incredulously as Lloyd rambles on about why the Bell Tower is not really the Bell Tower.
Judge Schmales and Pookie (aka Lloyd and Shannon) take a break from the rigors of Tailgaiing.
And --- three hours later.....
Nicole was unanimously voted as Babysitter of the Game by the Executive Committee. As the babysitter for the Demarest, she is not eligible for Babe of the Week honors (see above), however, she is Brandon Demarest's first real crush, so don't get any funny ideas.
Of course, what tailgating party would be complete without B-B-Q. For our Yankee viewers (especially those Yankees living in Indianapolis and Cincinnati), that is real Louisiana Boudin on the left.
Game Pictures
Rohan under center. To all who were there, Rohan clearly separated himself from Booty and Nall. He was 6 for 6, with a TD, and seemed to be completely confident and in control. The offense seemed very comfortable with Rohan at the helm.
Even after the play is completely over, Thomas Dunson is still being blocked by his man. Although Dunson does well on special teams, he is clearly not an SEC caliber linebacker.
We finally have a kicker. Amen, Hallelujah, Glory Be, Asalamu'Alaikum my brothers, and all that other crap.
Rondell is feeling really Relaxative right about now as he heads for his first touchdown of the game.
After five long-awaited years, Josh Booty takes his turn as an LSU Quarterback. While Rohan clearly deserves to start the Auburn game, don't count out Booty yet. As some the callers into the radio programs after the game suggested, Booty looked just as good as Rohan did in the SJS game. We'll have to wait and see how Booty progresses as a result of this outing. Regardless, I will feel very comfortable with either Rohan or Josh under center. They both seem capable and full of promise.
And then there's Craig Nall. He was 1 for 5 for 12 yards, and looked even worse than his stats indicated. Clearly practice performance does not translate into game day potential. I hope it's just a case of nerves, as you can never have enough healthy Quarterbacks in the SEC.
Damien James walks of the field on crutches after suffering a knee injury. The injury was the result of a blatant cheap shot. Apparently, he should be O.K. to go against Auburn.
Robin (getting tanked again), with Mason, the man responsible for the Babe of the Game feature. Robin thought that by kissing up to the man responsible for the BOG, that she could therefore become eligible and influence his vote. It didn't work.
