Obviously, there is not much to say about the game other than Josh Booty sucks.  From the stands, it was worse than you could have possibly seen on T.V.  Booty continuously had one-on-one coverage on a number of receivers, yet always threw to the one receiver who was double or tripled teamed.  He always seemed to miss his read and overthrew/underthrew some critical passes.  He did have 4 or 5 dropped balls, but every Q.B. is going to have those.  He is still throwing off his back foot, and yet we have to hear Saban say week after week, "He's the best we've got."  Well, if he's the best we've got, Saban might as well have an open competition among intramural league quarterbacks, because they can do no worse than Booty.  But, looking at the bright side of things, HE DOES HAVE UPSIDE (Sorry Chris, I couldn't resist).

Even with the loss, it was still a good time had by all.  The tailgating was limited because a number of people couldn't make it but we did do our usual thing.

We've also appointed John "I Have No Shame" Tobler to be the official Babe of the Game Photographer.  Although he did inadvertently change the settings of the camera so that many of his pictures came out too dark, he is willing to do what it takes to get any and all potential candidates.  We'll work on his camera skills in the meantime.

TAILGATING PICTURES

Brandon and Caitlyn are growing up before our eyes.  This year they entered Kindergarten.  Maybe next week we'll see if they will sing the "Hey Fightin' Tigers" for us again.

As usual, we staked out our Parade Grounds tailgating near the Bell Tower.  Without Lloyd, there was no ramblings about any Campanile.

Apparently, John's cooking was just a little too hot for Craig's delicate system.

Once again, Josh Booty throws off his back foot for an interception.  After the game, one caller to the local B.R. radio station asked the commentator if they thought Josh Booty was the worst quarterback in the history of LSU football.  I believe it was Gordy Rush who said, "I'm sure they had worse quarterbacks before th 1930's because they never threw the ball back then."  Although the line play was admittedly inept, you can blame this loss squarely on the Booty's shoulders.

Here, LSU pulls to within 3.  The game just seemed to drag on and on as LSU couldn't muster any kind of momentum until this series.  Then Booty found a way to screw it up.

The final score.  Pathetic, ABSOLUTELY pathetic.  UAB's team is only 10 years old, and they've only been playing at the 1-A level for 4 years.  Thanks, Josh.  We've reached a new all-time low..
